According to TMZ, the victim of Kenneth Petty’s 1995 rape case conviction, Jennifer Hough, is suing Nicki Minaj and her husband. Since Nicki and Petty began dating in 2018, Hough claims she has been bribed, harassed, and threatened on numerous occasions.
In addition to sexual assault, the victim is suing the couple for intentional infliction of emotional distress, harassment, and witness intimidation in connection with the 1995 case. After Petty was arrested in March 2020 for failing to register as a sex offender, Hough alleges Nicki offered to fly her and her entire family to Los Angeles if she recanted her testimony about the rape allegations. He just agreed to a plea bargain in order to have his sentence reduced.
Hough claims she had “unsolicited visits” and was harassed by phone calls as a result of declining. Nicki then allegedly went to her brother and gave him $500,000 in exchange for her retracting her claims that Petty was a rapist, according to Hough.
Jennifer Hough allegedly received another $20,000 attempted bribe after lawyers arrived at her home. Hough felt unsafe at this time and abandoned her home in August 2020, fearing for her safety. In the lawsuit, the victim claims Nicki Minaj has been unfairly dismissive of the issue, claiming Kenneth Petty was “wrongfully accused.”
