Alt-Pop songwriter Solå has been making herself known through her home country of Norway for her unique, synth-heavy brand of pop. Her new single ‘B Mine’ showcases her wealth of talent, build on the foundations of solid upbeat pop songwriting, the production is the standout feature, allowing the track to crossover into electronic spaces seamlessly.

An all-round music obsessive, Solå began her musical journey by writing and producing her music solo in her dormitory in Bergen. Developing her craft for synth-rich, lo-fi pop bangers, she soon had her first release on legendary french label Kitsune. The new single B Mine, is a continuation of that sound with an added professionalism, achieved through working with Vetle Junker (AURORA, Verdensrommet), Even Kjelby (Great News) and Matias Tellez (Girl In Red, Young Dreams

Speaking on the new single, Solå states:

“When I wrote ‘B Mine’, it was important to me to write something based on my feelings towards myself. I tend to compromise too much, and that has made me lose track of what I truly want for myself.  I’ve been unfortunate in my love, and that has sometimes made me feel small. ‘B Mine’ is my way of saying that you should value yourself, and not let your desires fade away.
