Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Wizkid might not “need no other body,” but guess what? the singer has invited Justin Bieber alongside Tems for the remix of the song of summer, ‘Essence’.

Wizkid’s fourth studio album ‘Made in Lagos’ featured the sultry Afrobeats single, which was first released in October 2020. The original version of ‘Essence’ features rising music act, Tems. The song has progressively climbed the Billboard Hot 100 chart since its debut in July, currently sitting at number fifty-four in the week ending August 14.

The singer had previously teased fans about having something special for them. Before announcing he has a new tune with Justin Bieber and Tems.

Justin Bieber also thanked Wiz for having him on the remix of ‘Essence’, which he dubbed “the song of the summer.”
