I was today-years-old when I found out about the wonderful talents of Pompi.

A month ago, Zambian recording artist Pompi released the official video for ‘Luyando’ with Mag44. Based on my research, the song’s title translates to “love”, a popular surname from the Tonga tribe in Zambia and Zimbabwe. Pompi details his thoughts about love for the opening verse, speaks his heart and salutes a man for marrying his fiancée. In Lusaka-native artist Mag44’s verse, he talks about the variations of love, giving without receiving, and accountability. Each stanza is thought-provoking, inspiring independent thoughts about your life and how you’re leading it.

Watch the creative visual below for the Hip-Hop/Electronic track to watch Pompi and Mag44 perform in their native tongue and English. There are beautiful people dressed nicely throughout the set, which happens to be a barber shoppe.
