The Official Charts Company has announced that Billie Eilish has scored her second United Kingdom number one album with ‘Happier Than Ever’.

The singer’s latest album, which was released on July 30, 2021, went straight to the top of the charts. Billie Eilish was catapulted to the top spot by a total of 39,000 chart sales, with physical purchases accounting for 61% and streams accounting for 33%.

Reacting to the news, Billie Eilish told OfficialCharts.com: “Thank you so so much to my fans in the UK. it means so much to me that you guys love this album like I do. I do miss you guys so much and can’t wait to come back to the UK soon!!”

Since Lana Del Rey’s ‘Born To Die’ and ‘Ultraviolence’ seven years ago, Billie is the first international female artist to reach number one on the Official United Kingdom Albums Chart with her first two albums.
