As a way to celebrate Nipsey Hussle’s 36th heavenly birthday, BJ the Chicago Kid released a cover to his record with Dom Kennedy titled, ‘Double Up’. The original record was from his last album, ‘Victory Lap’, nominated at the 61st GRAMMY Awards for Best Rap Album. About the cover, the Illinois-native R&B sensation said, “I wanted to creatively honor my friend, who not just uplifted so many with his music, but was an incredible man who meant the world to the industry as a whole. This is my way of working to continue his legacy through music.”
